Susan Chrisman

Susan and her husband, Jerry, were pioneer homeschoolers, beginning their journey in home education in 1985.  The Chrismans have five children and three grandsons.  They have served on the board of trustees for the Oklahoma Christian Home Educators’ Consociation since 2001.  Jerry is currently serving OCHEC as President, and Susan is the Editor of Publications and the Leaders’ Retreat Coordinator.  She also co-directs the Oklahoma City Charlotte Mason Discussion Group, and has published a homeschool resource called The Practical Planner for Home Education which is available on her website at www.lifelonglearnersonline.com.  Susan founded a resource service called Lifelong Learners to encourage parents (especially moms) in the training and education of their children.  She speaks to support groups, at mom’s retreats, and at homeschool conventions.  Susan’s heart and calling are to guide moms in understanding the true education of the whole person, an application of Mark 12:30: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength.”
